Students Excel at Tampa Bay NATS Auditions

(Bradenton, Fla., April 7, 2025) — Students from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota showcased outstanding vocal performances at the annual Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) auditions. As the only two-year college in the region participating, SCF competed against students from four-year universities and demonstrated remarkable talent.

Two SCF students earned top honors in their categories. Joshua Ogline won first place in Freshman Tenor-Bass Classical and in Freshman Tenor-Bass Music Theatre, while Julianna Lugo secured first place in Freshman Soprano-Alto Music Theatre. Both students were invited to perform in the prestigious final winner’s concert.
