New SCF Social Confidence Mini-Workshop for Teens with Autism, Anxiety or ADHD

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 11, 2025) — A new Social Confidence mini-workshop aimed to help teens with autism, anxiety or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder improve their social interactions will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at State College of Florida (SCF) Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy., Sarasota. The fee is $130. Parents may attend at no additional cost.

Teens will participate in engaging lessons and hands-on activities and gain practical tools for reading social cues, holding conversations, making friends and other skills in a supportive learning environment. Effective verbal communication skills are required.
