SCF Board of Trustees Report: Dec. 10, 2024

(Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 10, 2024) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting on Dec. 10.
The board heard presentations on:
- SCF Collegiate Schools Update – Kelly Monod, associate vice president, SCF Collegiate Schools.
- SCF Foundation Update – Cassandra Holmes, vice president of advancement and executive director, SCF Foundation.
The board approved:
- Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
- Miscellaneous capital projects totaling $2,373,000 using architects, engineers and construction managers selected through the continuing contract CCNA process, per Florida Statute. Projects include Building 2 Radiography X-Ray Equipment & Space Upgrade totaling $408,000 from the Capital Reserve and Perkins Grant; Building 29 Nursing Auditorium Upgrades totaling $750,000 from the Capital Reserve; Building 28 OT/PT HVAC Upgrades totaling $300,000 from the Capital Reserve; Building 26 Science Walk-in Laboratory Refrigeration totaling $165,000 from the Capital Reserve; 3-Court Tournament Sand Volleyball totaling $250,000 from SABR & 25/26 CIF; and Weight Room and Equipment Upgrades totaling $500,000 from SABR & 25/26 CIF.
