SCF Music Unveils Its September-October 2024 Lineup of Low-cost and Free Events

  • “Fall Festival of Music”—7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.

Kick off the 2024-2025 season with an inspirational evening of ensemble music presented by SCF’s symphonic band, concert choir, chamber choir, guitar ensemble, jazz big band and jazz combo. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for SCF students and staff.

  • “Community Piano Recital”— 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at SCF Recital Hall, Building 11A.

Discover the musical talent of local students of various ages and experience levels from the community. Tickets are free.

  • “A Night at the Movies”— 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.

Enjoy iconic movie themes from John Williams, Erich Korngold and other music composers presented by the SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for SCF students and staff.

  • “Guys and Dolls”— 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, and 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 27, at SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.

Transport into bustling 1950 New York City where notorious gambler Sky Masterson places a bet to win the love of missionary lady Sarah Brown in this Broadway musical comedy presented by SCF’s music theatre ensemble. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for SCF students and staff.

  • “Spooktacular Sounds: A Halloween Concert Extravaganza”—7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at SCF Recital Hall, Building 11A.

Experience a thrilling night of spine-tingling cyberpunk music productions, frightening compositions and black magic jazz presented by SCF’s music production program, student composers and jazz. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for SCF students and staff.
