SCF Launches New Medicare Benefits Course

(Bradenton, Fla., September 5, 2024) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) Lifelong Learning has launched new Medicare 101 monthly courses at SCF Bradenton, SCF Venice and SCF Lakewood Ranch. The two-hour class covers an overview of Medicare, including parts of Medicare A-D, what they cover and how they work together, and the latest Medicare updates, including deadlines and penalties for late enrollment. The course costs $29.
The following sessions run from 6:30-8:30 p.m.:
- Wednesday, September 4, SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.
- Tuesday, October 8, SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail
- Wednesday, November 13, SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy, Sarasota
- Wednesday, December 11: SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.
