Award-Winning Engineering Summer Camps at SCF Coding Academy Now Enrolling

(Bradenton, Fla., April 22, 2024) – The Coding Academy at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is now enrolling for its 2024 STEM Summer Camps for elementary, middle, and high school students, which is recognized with the Future of Industry Award from Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs (NBT) for excellence in introducing students to advanced manufacturing in the Sarasota and Manatee regions. Camps will run weekly at all three SCF campuses June 10 – July 19, starting at $175, with before and after care options available at select locations for an additional fee. Scholarships are available, ensuring accessibility for those facing financial barriers.
SCF Coding Academy camps offer a unique opportunity for kids to explore college majors and careers focused on coding, engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced manufacturing, and mechatronics. Our camp staff and industry partners are dedicated to illustrating the direct connection between the skills learned in the classroom and the skills needed for real-world jobs. With an emphasis on hands-on, high-tech learning with cutting-edge technology, SCF’s Coding Academy STEM camps provide an opportunity for students to explore and develop their STEM interests. Each week, campers work on different technology projects, participate in fun tech competitions, and take industry tours. Camps combine fun, friendship, and learning about emerging technologies. The weekly themes keep middle and high school campers engaged and returning summer after summer.
