Program Helps non-HR professionals navigate Human Resources Management

(Bradenton, Fla., January 31, 2024) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host an eight-week Human Resources Management program. Sessions will run each Tuesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. February 6 through March 26 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway, Sarasota. Many small businesses may not have an HR Manager or department but require HR-related tasks, such as hiring, supervision, discipline, and the required legal responsibilities. Many of these topics can create legal minefields for the business, whether there is a trained employee with this expertise.
This 8-week course is geared toward those handling these tasks, generalists, specialists, and those interested in entering the world of HR. Topics covered include:
