Become a Certified Personal Trainer with SCF Workforce Development and W.I.T.S.

(Bradenton, Fla., September 8, 2023) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a hybrid personal training certification course on Saturdays from Oct. 7 to Nov. 18, with no class on Nov. 11. Instructors from World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) will lead the blend of in-person and online sessions. The course includes five online lectures from 9 a.m.-noon and five in-person sessions at a local fitness center from 1-4 p.m. Final exams, both written and practical, will take place Nov. 18, beginning at 9 a.m.
Participants can expect practical hands-on experience during the course and access to a national pool of employment opportunities upon completion. The fee for the course and certification exam is $899. Registration is available online at SCF.edu/Training. Search for course 15195. A textbook is required and not included in the cost of the course.
