Future Business Leaders Display Excellence at State Conference

(Bradenton, Fla., May 11, 2023) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) students earned high honors at the Florida State Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Conference in Orlando. Competing against students from colleges and universities across Florida, SCF students, representing SCF Bradenton and SCF Venice chapters of the FBLA, brought home the following awards:
Dylan Thull
- First place in Job Interview.
- Second place in Information Management.
- Second place in Project Management.
Nikki Francisco
- First place in Management Concepts.
- First place in Organizational Behavior & Leadership.
- Second place in Help Desk.
Taylor Howell and Sienna Rodriguez
- First place in Integrated Marketing.
Sienna Rodriguez and Dulce Rios-Cardona
- First place in Desktop Publishing.

- Third place in Retail Management.

- Second place in Business Presentation.
Another SCF student, Amanda Foster, was entered in Who is Who in Florida FBLA-Collegiate for her service as FBLA Florida State Vice President of Communications.
The five award winners have earned invitations to compete at the National Leadership Conference, scheduled for June 22-25 in Atlanta, where they will compete against FBLA members from across the United States.
