SCFCS Bradenton Instructor Lisa Lacey Nominated for Congressional Award

Lisa Lacey was nominated for Rep. Vern Buchanan’s Congressional Teacher Award. Less than 20 teachers across Manatee and Sarasota counties were nominated. The Congressman welcomed all nominees to a reception where certificates of recognition were issued. Lacey is recognized within the SCFCS community for her dedication to both teaching and mentoring, and has committed additional time to chaperoning travel opportunities to broaden the horizons of SCFCS students.
