(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 9, 2023) — The Music Program atState College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will present a premium musical experience, “We Are The Romms,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, in the SCF Studio for the Performing Arts Recital Hall, 5840 26th St. W. in Bradenton. National performing artists Ronald, Avis and Aaron Romm come together as the Romm Trio, a unique two-trumpet and piano ensemble that promises a versatile, warm and deeply personal concert experience. Dr. Aaron Romm is a trumpet instructor at SCF and serves as co-principal trumpet of the Sarasota Orchestra. He joins his father, Ronald Romm, who performed for nearly three decades in Canadian Brass, one of the world’s premiere brass ensembles. Avis Romm, Ronald’s wife and Aaron’s mother, is a pianist with highly regarded solo, ensemble and accompaniment credits in live and recorded performances. Together the Romm’s have performed across the United States and Europe, and all three remain active as music instructors in collegiate and private settings.
