SCF Board of Trustees Report: December 13, 2022

(Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 13, 2022) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting virtually and in-person with essential staff and trustees on Dec. 13.
The board heard presentations on:
- The State College of Florida Foundation (SCFF) from Cassandra Holmes, executive director of SCFF.
- Employee survey results from Bryce Pride, director of institutional research.
The board approved:
- Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
- A contract in the amount of $85,009.05 with Howard Industries to provide Audio/Video for the SCF Venice Science and Technology Building project.
- A project in the amount of $375,000 and a contract in the amount of $317,843.52 with Tandem Construction to replace the flooring at the SCF Bradenton Collegiate School, Building 19, in the south and east wings.
- Revisions to rule 6HX14-1.07, pertaining to responsibility and authority of the president.
- Revisions to rule 6HX14-1.181, pertaining to grant applications.
- New rule 6HX14-5.02, pertaining to student fees.
The next board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2023, at SCF Bradenton.
