What is Go Live with SCF Online?

Go Live is an expanded online learning format that allows students to receive live lectures and have real-time question and answer sessions.

When registering or working on your schedule this instructional method will be called SCF Live.

Are SCF Go Live/SCF Live classes on campus?

No, SCF Live classes are online classes on the e-campus. The schedule will have a date and time but no room or building.

What about attendance policies?

Attendance policies are decided by the professor in the same manner as a face to face class, so check your syllabus.

What do I do if I cannot make it to class?

Email your professor, just as you would in a face-to-face class.

Why were adjustments made to my schedule?

In order to provide additional delivery options to students, in response to survey results, we have made changes in the way some courses are being offered in the fall. These changes include the new instructional method SCF Live. Please make sure to check your schedule via the MySCF portal to see if any classes have been changed.

Feel free to adjust your class schedule now. If you are looking for a specific modality (traditional, blended, online or SCF Live), continue to monitor the schedule for additional seats or sections to be added. We encourage you to use the wait list function to "claim" your spot in line.

Can I change my schedule?

Yes, if you would prefer another instructional method you may go into the registration system and register for a different class. If you do not see the instructional method you prefer check back frequently because SCF is adding additional sections in all instructional methods to meet student needs.
