Registration Requirements

In order to register, students must have completed the admissions process with the following documents on file in the Office of the Registrar:

  • SCF application for admission;
  • Florida residency statement and documentation;
  • official high school transcript, or GED test scores, if required;
  • official college transcript, if applicable; and
  • placement test scores, if required.

Registration Holds

A student record may have a hold that prevents registration for classes. Typical reasons for a hold include financial obligations to the College or an incomplete student file.

To find out what type of hold is on a record, students can view holds via the Student Profile under the MySCF portal.

Selecting Courses

It is essential that students select their courses carefully, ensuring that coursework fulfills the requirements of their selected degree or certificate program. College and Career Success is available to assist students in planning a program of study that meets their educational and career goals. Additionally, students can self-asses using Degree Works.
