Step 1: Complete Early College Application
Complete the Early College Application. After the application is processed the student will receive a welcome email with their SCF credentials. If you are a continuing Early College student, you will not be required to complete a new application. Applications are valid for three semesters. If you have taken classes as a non-degree student you will be required to complete a new Early College application and contract.
Step 2: Submit placement testing results
Students must submit official college placement scores in Reading, Writing and Mathematics to enroll in college credit courses. Approved tests include the ACT, SAT, and PERT (Florida’s Postsecondary Education Readiness Test). Scores may not be more than 24 months old. PERT Testing for Early College purposes may be taken only once per term and twice per calendar year.
Private School Counselors may send PERT scores from the SIS to registrar@scf.edu
Students may request their SAT scores from CollegeBoard.org
Students may request their ACT scores from ACT.org
SCF’s school code for ACT is 0741 and SAT is 5427. Students can use this to ensure scores/transcripts are sent directly to SCF.
