Welcome to the Disability Resource Center (DRC)

 Beginning June 22nd, the DRC offices on Bradenton and Venice campuses will be open for limited operations. DRC staff will continue to provide most services remotely, however, those who require in person support may visit the office during the days and times designated below.

Students are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing, maintaining a six-foot distance when entering the Disability Resource Center.

To protect the health of our students and staff, the Disability Resource Center will maintain remote operations in the following ways:

  • Students will continue to receive accommodations as Summer B classes are delivered in an online or blended learning environment. Students may continue to access the DRC Portal to request accommodations.  
  • Scheduled appointments with DRC Staff will take place online via Microsoft Teams or by phone. Students should email the appropriate DRC staff member or to schedule an appointment.
  • Instructors will continue to provide accommodations during remote instruction. Instructors will access students’ accommodation information through delivery of the Faculty Notification Letter. Instructors who have questions about providing accommodations may email
  • DRC Computer Labs will not be open for the remainder of the summer.
  • Prospective students are encouraged to review the information located online under the Apply for Accommodations Page.
