State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has locations in West Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and South Venice to serve both Manatee and Sarasota counties. Whether you are looking for a place to conduct training, sales meetings, social events, concerts, or sporting events SCF has you covered.
SCF has well-designed meeting spaces, up-to-date technology and attractive landscaping. From small group meetings to large community events, SCF’s facilities offer versatility, amenities and ambiance to make any event a special occasion.
Bradenton Campus Facility Rentals
SCF Bradenton is located near Sarasota Bay in southwest Manatee County and is easily accessible to residents in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
This 100-acre campus offers:
- Classrooms equipped with instructor podiums, white boards, internet access and LCD projectors.
- Computer laboratories and classrooms.
- Multipurpose rooms in the Student Union can accommodate groups from 25 to 250 people. These highly versatile rooms are all equipped with wireless Internet access.
- Outdoor Performance Pavilion, equipped with electrical outlet, can seat up to 1,000 in a beautiful outdoor setting.
- Conference rooms that seat up to 15 people.
- On-site catering.
Hal Chasey Gymnasium Rentals
The Hal Chasey Gymnasium, located on the Bradenton Campus, seats 904 people with a full size basketball court that can be used for numerous activities.
The Gymnasium comes equipped with:
- Bleachers
- Concession Stands
- Scoreboard
- Sound Equipment
- Locker Rooms
- Classroom
- Tennis Courts
- Baseball Fields equipped with lighting
- Softball Fields.
- Equipment packages for basketball and volleyball can be rented for an additional fee.
The Hal Chasey Gymnasium is a great place to hold a sports league, team building event or any event which requires versatile accommodations.
Neel Performing Arts Center
The Neel Performing Arts Center is centrally located on 60th Ave. West between 26th St. West and 34th St West at SCF Bradenton. Built to seat 837, the Neel Performing Arts Center has the ability to host a variety of events.
Remodeled in 1999, the auditorium features:
- Auditorium Technicians

SCF Lakewood Ranch Facility Rentals
SCF Lakewood Ranch’s location off I-75 in Lakewood Ranch Corporate Business Park makes it ideal for events that include out-of-town participants.
- Classrooms equipped with instructor podiums, white boards, Internet access and LCD projectors.
- Computer laboratories and classrooms.
- State of the art 156-seat auditorium equipped to accommodate any training or meeting needs.
- Multi-purpose Selby room equipped with catering kitchen, Internet access, instructor podium, separate entrance, LCD projector and PC.
- Conference room that seats up to 15 people.
- Smart podium, PC, LCD, DVD/VCR, ELMO document camera, Polycom video conferencing, and 11′ Fresnel lens screen available for events in the teaching auditorium.
SCF Venice Facility Rentals
SCF Venice is located in beautiful south Venice off US-41. The campus is equal distance from Venice, Englewood and Northport.
This 100-acre campus offers:
- Classrooms equipped with instructor podiums, white boards, Internet access and LCD projectors.
- Computer laboratories and classrooms.
- Multipurpose rooms in the Student Union can accommodate groups from 25 to 100 people. These highly versatile rooms are all equipped with wireless Internet access.
- Outdoor Performance Pavilion, equipped with electrical outlet, can seat up to 1,000 in a beautiful outdoor setting.
- Conference rooms that seat up to 15 people.
- Selby Multi-purpose room which can accommodate up to 200 people with kitchen facilities.
- On-site catering.
- Well-lighted parking areas adjacent to facilities.

A Certificate of Liability Insurance (or a written request for the College to purchase this insurance through the Florida Community College Risk Management Consortium) is required 30 days before each scheduled event. The Certificate Holder line should read State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees. The Liability Insurance Policy must list a minimum of $1,000,000 for “General Aggregate,” “Products (Comp/Op Agg)” and “Each Occurrence” and $500,000 for Damage to Rented Premises. Events cancelled 30 days prior to their event may receive a refund of their deposit, less a $50 administration fee. Events cancelled after 30 days forfeit their deposit.
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota does not allow external rentals with alcohol.
Renter’s may be subject to additional security fees if their event occurs outside of normal operating hours, focuses on minors under the age of 18, or open to the public. Please contact the Auxiliary Services department for more details at 941-752-5693

Rentals over $500 require a 50% deposit with the return of the contract and balance two weeks prior to event. Rentals under $500 require full payment with the contract.
