The Homeland Security Specialist Certificate prepares students new to the Criminal Justice Field for work as first-line supervisory personnel of Service Workers, Police and detectives in geographic areas where those jobs do not require post Academy training and supervisors do not require a degree. All courses are included in the Criminal Justice A.S. Degree if the student later wishes to continue their education in the Criminal Justice Field.
