Online Baccalaureate Degrees:

The BAS degree is a 4-year degree that focuses on a specialized degree field appropriate to working students who require a 4-year degree and specialized knowledge in a career field.  Deciding to earn your bachelor’s degree can be challenging. It requires commitment, time, and energy. But for your future, the positive benefits of obtaining your degree outweigh the challenges.

While no degree can guarantee you more money, employees with a bachelor's degree earn an average of 36% more than those with an associate's degree, and 64% more than those with a high school diploma, according to the BLS. An employee with a bachelor's degree is likelier to have more promotion opportunities than an employee with an associate's degree as well.

Students are eligible for entry into SCF BAS degrees with any of the following prerequisites from SCF or any regionally accredited institution, 1) AA degree, 2) an AS degree, or 3) 60 credit hours of transfer credit.

All of SCF Baccalaureate Degrees are offered fully online.  Specific degrees offered 100% online are listed below:

Online Associate Degrees:

Associate in Arts A.A Degree

The Associate in Arts degree (A.A.) is designed for students who plan to transfer to a Florida public four-year institution as a junior to complete a bachelor’s degree program. The A.A. degree provides the courses of study equivalent to those offered in the freshman and sophomore years at Florida’s state colleges and universities.

The A.A. degree requirements generally consist of 36 credit hours of general education and 24 credit hours of electives. Students should select elective courses that are required for admission to the student’s intended major at the desired college or university.

Associate in Science A.S. Degrees

The Associate in Science (A.S.) degree programs prepare students to enter a specific career immediately after graduation. In most cases, they are not considered equal to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program. However, some of the credits earned in an A.S. degree program may be transferrable to a four-year college or university.
