SCFCS Bradenton Receives 12th Consecutive “A” Grade in State Assessments

(Bradenton, Fla., August 18, 2022) —State College of Florida Collegiate School (SCFCS) in Bradenton earned an “A” rating from the Florida Department of Education for the 12th consecutive year in 2021-22. The school has never scored less than an “A” on the state’s accountability report.   

Florida grades its schools based on 11 components, including achievement on standardized assessments, graduation rate, and college and career acceleration. SCFCS Bradenton opened in 2010 and has graduated hundreds of students who have successfully continued their higher education journeys and successfully joined the workforce.  

SCFCS Bradenton is a tuition-free public charter school sponsored by the School District of Manatee County. The school is located on the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota campus in Bradenton. Enrollment is available for students in grades 6-12, with juniors and seniors fully dual-enrolled in college courses with the opportunity to earn an associate in arts degree at the same time as a high school diploma.
