Summer 2025 STEM Exploration! Camp Sign-up

(Bradenton, Fla., March 13, 2025) — Registration is open for three Summer 2025 STEM Exploration! camps for middle and high school students in June at the Advanced Technology Center at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 8. Students will learn about engineering, programming and fabrication, build robots and gain real-world skills through fun, hands-on activities. Each camp costs $299 and is designed to spark curiosity and love for the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
- Introduction to Robotics – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9-13 (middle school)
Students will learn to code, use LEGO Spike Prime kits to build and program robots, work with motors and sensors, and gain an understanding of manufacturing, automation and controls.
- Fab to Finishing – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16-20 (middle school)
Students will explore manufacturing and powder coating, use virtual reality headsets to learn about fabrication and finishing processes, fly drones and explore careers.
- Arduino, Meet Alexa – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 23-27 (high school)
Students will examine the integration of sensors, coding and artificial intelligence-driven automation to create responsive, voice-activated systems and program Arduino microcontrollers to interact with smart devices.
