(Bradenton, Fla., Dec. 16, 2024) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will be closed for winter break Dec. 18 to Jan. 1. SCF will resume normal operating hours on Thursday, Jan. 2. Registration for classes will remain open during winter break at My.SCF.edu. Spring 2025 classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 6. 

The SCF Bradenton Bookstore in Building 14 will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays and closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. The SCF Venice Bookstore in Building 500 will be open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Dec. 23-27. Students may also shop online at the bookstore’s website.

The SCF Food Pantry will remain accessible to students via Public Safety. Students can call SCF Bradenton at 941-752-5550 or SCF Venice at 941-408-1550. A free and confidential counseling support line is available at 941-752-5107.
