Classes begin Monday, Jan. 6, at SCF Bradenton, SCF Lakewood Ranch, SCF Venice and online. Students can pursue associate in arts, associate in science or bachelor’s degrees, workforce certificates or professional development courses. Existing students can register online at My.SCF.edu. New students must apply online at SCF.edu.
SCF’s two-year and four-year degrees and certificates continue to meet the region’s workforce needs. Students can design their own schedule, attend classes full-time or part-time, and study at their own pace. Many times and course delivery options are available, including the following:
- Go Live with SCF Online live video conference instruction, enabling students to experience face-to-face learning from convenient locations.
- Weekend College for students with weekday obligations, offering classes on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
- Flex Start courses, starting at various times throughout the semester, including one 12-week session, two eight-week sessions and three five-week sessions.
Tuition at SCF is significantly less than the cost of public universities, private colleges and for-profit institutions. The SCF credit hour cost has remained the same for more than a decade. Students may apply for scholarships, grants, payment plans and other financial aid to help manage their college expenses. Credits earned at SCF are transferable to any public university in Florida.
