CCAMPIS Grant
The Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant is a federal program of the U.S. Department of Education that assists student parents with young children, who are pursuing a college degree with financial needs. CCAMPIS funds can specifically be used to pay for quality, accredited and conveniently located child care services. The grant may be used for before- and/or after-school services.
What are the program benefits?
In addition to minimizing costs for child care, SCF will support the recipients with its full complement of student support services, including college and career success coaches, assistance navigating the financial aid process, and referrals to additional community and government resources.
Am I Eligible?
Students must meet the following eligibility requirements for CCAMPIS funding:
- Current SCF student enrolled in six (6) or more credit hours
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Eligible for Financial Aid
- Eligible for the Pell Grant
