Requesting Official Transcripts
Your official transcript housed with State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota is bound by the federal law FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974).
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has retained Parchment to accept transcript orders over the Internet. Please click on the Parchment logo below to enter your order. SCF has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of SCF. Official printed transcripts are still available for ordering as well. The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company’s website that is provided during the delivery process. Parchment has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of SCF and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.
In accordance with Florida Statute 1009.26. SCF will waive the transcript fee for a person who is on active duty or an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces and his or her spouse and dependents. If you feel you qualify under these categories, please complete the Transcript Request form and submit to veterans@scf.edu. Please include in the subject line “United States Armed Forces Transcript Waiver.” Once your request is received, the Veteran Services Office will verify eligibility and, if eligible, the transcript will be processed at no charge.
Please note: you will be required to create an account with Parchment to request your official transcript.

Transcript Evaluation
Submitting Transcripts
Submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions. If you have not earned a degree you must also submit an official high school transcript/GED.
Please note: The College only accepts official documents, sent directly from the issuing institution or agency. We do not accept transcripts emailed from students.
SCF Office of the Registrar accepts transcripts in the following ways:
- Electronic transcripts sent directly to: transcripts@scf.edu
- Mailed official transcripts addressed to: P.O. Box 1849 Bradenton, Florida 34206
- Faxed transcripts from the issuing institution directly to fax#: (941) 727-6380
- Official transcripts in a sealed envelope, dropped off to the Office of the Registrar
Evaluating Your Transcript
In most cases, transcripts will be processed within 10-14 business days, once received. However, in some instances, transcript evaluation could take up to the first term of degree-seeking enrollment.
If Math or English courses do not transfer as SCF equivalent courses, you may need the PERT test for proper placement into further mathematics/English courses.
Evaluation Results
You will be emailed directions on how to obtain the Degree Works audit (this will show you what course may have transferred over to SCF).
Degree Works Audit
Degree Works is a web-based planning and audit tool for current students and academic advisors to track degree/certificate progress and completion. Degree Works may be accessed under the Student Profile in MySCF.
Accepted credits will appear on the unofficial State College of Florida (SCF) transcript which you can access through your “MY SCF” account.
Note that SCF communications using your official SCF student email address.
Transfer Credit Information
Please take note that one of the requirements for graduation includes completing at least 25 percent of the hours of course credit required for the degree/certificate at State College of Florida.
