Non SCF Student Proctored Test Information

The assessment & testing centers at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota offer test proctoring services. Students enrolled in distance learning or other courses can take their required examinations at our institution rather than traveling to the original institution for evaluative purposes.   Please schedule your appointment online at scf.edu/testing.

The State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota Assessment/Testing Center participates with many institutions of higher learning as a Correspondence Testing Center in both paper-based and computer-based formats. Prospective candidates should contact their host institution to verify State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota Assessment/Testing Center as an acceptable location.

Arrangements for such testing must be made before the exam is sent to State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota.

Bradenton campus - for a computer-based for other institutions: Notify your home institution to forward exam information to BOTH Katharine Mawhinney (Mawhink@scf.edu) and Cheryl Korth (korthc@scf.edu). It is imperative that the materials be sent to BOTH email addresses or for paper-based distance exams, notify your home institution to send your examination to:

There is a charge of $25.00 for up to 3 hours for each proctored exam and $50.00 for anything over 3 hours. The fee covers handling of the examination consistent with sound testing procedures and the instructions from the home institution, completion of any and all forms and actual supervision while taking the test, however, any postage will be the responsibility of the home institution or the student.

You must have a non-expired government issued photo ID to take the test. 

If you do not know how much time you have been given for your exam, please contact your instructor before making an appointment. 

We will not make special trips to the post office, UPS, FEDEX, etc. for quicker mailings. (If priority mail, etc. has been paid by your home institution or yourself, the envelope will go out with the regular pick up or delivery which may be the following business day.)
