Required SEVIS I-901 $200.00 Fee

There is a SEVIS fee for all international students.  This fee is to be paid only after the admissions process has been completed and the student has received the approved SEVIS I-20 packet from the SCF Educational Records Office.

Prospective students are required to go to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) web site to complete form I-901 and pay a $200 (U.S. Dollars) fee.  Choose one of these three methods of payment:

1.   PAY ONLINE with a credit card drawn on an American bank. A computer receipt will be printed immediately.
2.   Locate a WESTERN UNION OFFICE (nearest the prospective student's home) which offers WESTERN UNION QUICK PAY. Follow the instructions found on the Quick Pay Web site.  The prospective student may pay using their currency and receive an immediate receipt.  In using the Quick Pay system there may be an additional fee to be paid to Western Union.
3.   The prospective student may download the I-901 MAIL-IN FORM    (4 pages: 3 instruction pages; form is on the 4th page.) Mail the completed I-901 form along with a check drawn on an American bank to the mailing address that is provided on the web site.  If the payment is mailed, the receipt may take several weeks to receive by mail.

(A relative, sponsor or friend from the U.S. may pay this for the student.)

Please note: Because completing the SEVIS I-901 form requires the SEVIS I-20 number, and School Code number, the form I-901 & fee are not able to be processed and paid until the prospective student receives the SEVIS I-20 packet from the College.

Please note: This fee does not replace the fee charged by the embassy for the appointment.  Prospective students have two separate fees: one paid to the DHS for the I-901 fee; the other paid for the embassy appointment.  The prospective student must present the receipt for I-901 fee payment to the embassy at the interview.
