Scholarships

Scholarships can reward you for academic excellence, talent and achievement in a variety of areas, such as the arts or athletics. Scholarships are not always based on financial need. Best of all, they don't need to be repaid.

Criteria, amounts and application processes for scholarships vary depending on the scholarship. Most scholarships require an application and possibly an essay. You are encouraged to research and apply for all scholarships you may qualify for.

It is advisable to complete the FAFSA when applying for scholarships. You may be eligible for scholarships based on financial need.
