How to Apply
The Outstanding Graduate Award recognizes a graduating student who has shown
superior leadership, academic achievement, and community service while attending
SCF. The application process will begin on January 16, 2017.
How do I apply?
To be considered for the Spring 2017 Outstanding Graduate Award, a student must complete the online Outstanding Graduate Award application by the February 24, 2017, midnight deadline and apply for Graduation by the January 20, 2017, deadline. The application is online and can be found here: Spring 2017 Outstanding Graduate Award online application, select #2, Apply for an SCF Foundation Scholarship and follow steps.
You will be asked to provide short answers to the following questions within the application:
NOMINATION: SCF Faculty or Staff member must nominate you for the Outstanding Graduate Award. In the application you will identify who your nominator is by name and email. The application system will send out online forms for your Nominator to fill out. RECOMMENDATIONS: The Outstanding Graduate Award requires two (2) letters of recommendation. One (1) recommendation must be from a faculty member (baccalaureate students must use an upper lever faulty member. And one(1) recommendation may come from a person of your choice. Your nominator can not be a reference.
TRANSCRIPTS: Unofficial SCF Transcript printed from SCFConnect and upload to your application.
NOTE: Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the committee.
