The official degree/certificate is awarded when all graduation requirements are completed including:
Fall 2014 Graduate Candidates:
Upon graduation, financial aid recipients whom have borrowed Federal Direct student loans while attending SCF are required to complete an Exit Counseling session at: www.studentloans.gov.. Exit Counseling provides important information you need to prepare to repay your federal student loan(s). You will need to log in with your FAFSA PIN and choose to "Complete Counseling."
It is also important for you to log in to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) at www.nslds.ed.gov. This site will provide you with access to detailed information regarding your federal loan(s) such as your interest rate, when the loan was borrowed, amounts disbursed, etc. You will need your PIN number to log in to NSLDS. If you have questions about these loans and need further assistance, you may visit the SCF Office of Financial Aid Services or you may contact the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID.
If you are continuing your education toward another degree at SCF, you must change your program for the next semester. Since you are graduating in your current program, you will automatically be put into a "non-degree seeking" status until you request a program change. Be aware this may effect your financial aid eligibility.
