Requesting Disability Services from the Disability Resource Center (DRC)

Once students have completed the admissions process,(applied to SCF, submitted test scores or taken placement tests, attended an orientation) they should visit the Disability Resource Center (DRC) to obtain a packet of intake materials.Documentation must be submitted so that an intake appointment, with a DRC advisor, can be made for a later time.

However, if disabled individuals need assistance with any aspect of the admission process they can request assistance from the DRC. Disabled individuals may need a reader or scribe to fill out the application and areinvited to visit the DRC to help in the application process.

A disabled student may need to take the placement test with accommodations. Students needing accommodated placement tests prior to admission must secure documentation of their disability from an appropriate professional and bring this documentation with them before they can take the placement test with DRC Services provided.
