Confused about your major?  Need to change majors?  Learn about a FREE assessment that will look at your interests, abilities, and values and generate careers that may be a good fit.

Prepare yourself for the workforce!  Local business representatives will share their knowledge about business, education, and the hiring process.  All students welcome.

 

Networking For Your Next Job

Your in-person and online presence have the power to move you to the top of the hire list or sway an employer to remove your application completely.  This session will cover social media and in-person networking.

Walk-In Advising/Open Lab

Bradenton SCF Career Resource Center offers career walk-in advising to SCF students and alumni who would like assistance with career exploration, resume writing, interview skills, internships and more.  Walk-in advising hours are available throughout the school year, students are seen on a first come first serve basis.  The schedule is subject to change; please call the Career Resource Center at 941-752-5325 to find out the most up-to-date walk-in advising hours. 

Venice SCF Career Resource Center has open lab hours for SCF students and alumni who would like help with on-campus employment, career research, cover letters, resumes and more.  Please contact us for our Summer schedule at 941-408-1536. We are located on the Venice campus bldg. 100., rm. 170.
