China's rapid development and Sino-American relations have a direct impact on the lives of just about everyone in the United States.  CHINA TOWN HALL:  Local Connections, National Reflections, is a national day of programming designed to provide Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss these issues with leading experts. 
The National Committee on United States-China Relations presents this program, which will feature a webcast by Gary Locke, United States Ambassador to the People's Republic of China. A leading expert, Leland R. Miller, will address  topics of particular interest to the community followed by a panel discussion by local area business leaders who will facilitate discussion with audience participation.

Scott Lincicome is an international trade attorney with White & Case, LLP. He has extensive experience in trade litigation before the United States Department of Commerce, the US International Trade Commission (ITC), the US Court of International Trade, the European Commission, China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body.  In this capacity, he has advised corporate and sovereign clients on US bilateral and regional trade agreements and American trade policy, with particular emphasis on US-China trade relations and trade in the Asia-Pacific region.  He also routinely advises clients on WTO matters, including accessions, compliance and the Doha Round of multilateral trade negotiations.

Mr. Carlson has served as President, CEO and a member of the Sun Hydraulics board since May 2000.
Prior to joing Sun Hydraulics, Mr. Carlson served in various engineering, product management and sales assignments for Vickers, Incorporated from October 1977 to March 1996. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the Advanced Management Program (AMP 157) at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Carlson has over 40 years experience in the fluid power industry.
