State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host an Adjunct Job Fair at 10 a.m. - noon, Saturday, June 15, at SCF Bradenton, building 19, and 5 - 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, at SCF Venice, building 800, Selby Room.

The Family Heritage House Museum at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a presentation by Dr. Marvin Dunn, retired chairman of the Florida International University Department of Psychology, at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host Junior Achievement College and Career Day on Wednesday, May 22, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail. Students will learn about college admission, the cost to attend college, scholarship opportunities and potential careers in nursing, science, mathematics and engineering technology.

(05-16-2013) SCF to Offer Local Anesthesia Dental Hygiene Continuing Ed Course
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Dental Hygiene Program, in partnership with SCF's Corporate and Community Development Division, will offer a local anesthetic course to fulfill a new state requirement that allows registered dental hygienists to administer local anesthesia under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
