MCC Studio 84 Presents Murder Mystery
(Bradenton, Fla., April 8, 2009) - Studio 84 Productions at Manatee Community College (MCC) will present "Design For Murder," a mystery by George Batson. Performances will be held in the Howard Studio Theatre at 8 p.m., Friday, April 17; Saturday, April 18; Monday, April 20; Thursday, April 23; Friday, April 24; and Saturday, April 25. A matinee performance is also scheduled for 2 p.m., April 19. The theatre is located in the Music and Theatre Building at MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West.
Set in her family mansion along the Hudson River, Celia Granger hopes to avoid bankruptcy by convincing her son, David, to marry a wealthy heiress. Celia's plans unravel when her young maid is found murdered.
The MCC production is directed by Kenneth Erickson Jr. Each performance will include Megan Kroger as Celia, Nicholas DeLisi as the chauffer, Emily Jamieson as the housekeeper, Grace Vitale as Louisa, and Carl MacMichael as Inspector Carlin.
Members of the double cast include: Matt Porter and Michael Jorgensen as David, Jenna Gagliano and Brittany Miller as Martha, Katelyn Studer and Liza Ting as Kathy, Mariana Rocha and Rachael Bayor as Nora.
