Student Competitors' Work Featured in Pentangle Exhibit
(Bradenton, Fla., Nov. 30, 2007) - An exhibit of artwork submitted by Manatee Community College (MCC) students in the annual Pentangle humanities magazine competition will continue through Jan. 17, on the west wing first floor of the new Art and Design Building, number 10, at MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Two-dimensional works on display include drawings, designs, paintings, photography and printmaking. Awards included a $125 Best of Show and three judge's choice awards of $25 each. The award-winning magazine is published annually in the spring.
Works may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The college will be closed for Winter Break Dec. 19 through Jan. 1. For more information, call (941) 752-5225.
