Learn About Admissions & Financial Aid
(Bradenton, Fla., June 5, 2007) - Students and prospective students of all ages and interests are invited to learn more about Manatee Community College's (MCC) programs and services - particularly the admissions process and financial aid opportunities - at upcoming Admissions and College Funding Workshops at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, room 247, building 1, MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West; room 173, building 100, MCC Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; and room 117, MCC Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East.
Potential students can get hands-on assistance in preparing an admissions application and information about financial aid. Participants also will learn about MCC programs and how to get a successful start at the college.
MCC offers an associate in arts (A.A.) degree and some associate in science (A.S.) degrees for students who intend to transfer to university programs and more than 20 associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degrees that prepare students to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation.
