MCC & Israeli Students Participate in International Art Exchange

(Bradenton, Fla., May 9, 2007) - A permanent display of graphics and fine art by students from ORT Singalowsky College Design School in Tel-Aviv, Israel, is on display in Nursing Building 29 at MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. The 2007 exhibit is the result of the fifth annual international digital art exchange sponsored by Manatee Community College (MCC) and Sarasota Sister Cities.

The Internet and digital exchange of artworks by MCC and the Israeli students was accomplished with technical help and expertise of art directors and faculty at both schools.

Other art exchanges were with Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; L'Ecole Superieure d'Art de Perpignan, France; Lauder College of Dunfermline, Scotland; and Vladimir State Pedagogical University, Russia. Participating MCC faculty include Sherri Hill, Sue Wyar, Joe Loccisano and Andrew Webster.
