Roggero Named CEO at MCC Venice
(Venice, Fla., Jan. 4, 2007) -- Manatee Community College (MCC) President Dr. Sarah H. Pappas has named Venice resident Ann Roggero the new campus executive officer (CEO) at MCC Venice.
Formerly vice president of human resources at Bon Secours-Venice Healthcare Corporation, Roggero recently served as practice administrator for a four-physician urology practice in Venice. She has diverse management experience in a broad range of industries that include manufacturing service and aerospace.
Well-known in the South Sarasota County area for her community service and as a speaker, Roggero is serving on the Rotary Futures Program Board and has served on Sarasota County Women's Resource Center, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Venice boards.
"Ann brings exceptional strategy development, analytical and people skills to the college. She is committed to building strong community relationships that will further its overall objectives and enhance services at MCC Venice," said Pappas.
As the MCC Venice CEO, Roggero will serve on the President's Executive Council and serve as the college's representative in South Sarasota County communities that include Englewood, North Port and Venice. Other responsibilities include providing administrative support for MCC Venice functions in collaboration with the president, vice presidents and executive director of the MCC Foundation.
Roggero has a bachelor's degree in business from Ottawa University, Ottawa, Kansas.
