Winter Break Dec. 16-Jan. 1
Manatee Community College (MCC) will observe the Winter Break from Saturday, Dec. 16, through Monday, Jan. 1. Libraries and labs will be closed Friday, Dec. 15. All offices and departments will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15.
Spring term enrollment services, including application, registration and fee payment, will continue to be available online during the Winter Break. The Library will reopen at 7:45 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2. All college offices and departments will reopen at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2. The Academic Resource Center reopens at 8 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 4. Other important Spring term dates include:
- Wednesday, Jan. 3, the last day new student applications for the Spring term will be accepted
- Thursday, Jan. 4, Spring term classes begin; deadline for paying tuition and fee balances not covered by financial aid; and last day the Florida College Entry Level Placement Test will be offered to new students enrolling in the Spring term
- Friday, Jan. 5, last day for new student orientations
- Wednesday, Jan. 10, last day students can add or drop classes with a refund.
Regular student services office hours at MCC Bradenton and MCC Venice are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday. Student services office hours will be extended Friday, Jan. 5, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A one-time $40 application fee ($75 for international students) is required for new students. Tuition is $69.69 per hour for in-state students and $256.95 per hour for out-of-state students.
