Class Prepares Students for Cine-World Film Festival

(Bradenton, Fla., Oct. 24, 2006) - Award-winning movie critics Frank Tucciarone and Kathie Moon will give discerning moviegoers a unique perspective on five films showing in this year's Cine-World Film Festival in a noncredit class offered by Manatee Community College (MCC) Corporate and Community Development. They ran a film society and served as co-chairs of the Education Committee and discussion moderators for the Sarasota Film Festival. 

In a Cine-World Film Festival class, students will see five choice films from the Sarasota Film Society's 2006 Cine-World Film Festival in the new six-screen, Lakewood Ranch Cinemas and participate in follow-up discussions led by the Tucciarones at the Center for Innovation and Technology at MCC Lakewood Ranch. Films and discussions are 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3; Monday, Nov. 6; and Monday, Nov. 13. The fee is $56. Ticket costs for each movie are extra.
