Former MCC Music Student on Tonight Show

(Bradenton, Fla., Sept. 13, 2006) - Matt Frost, a former Manatee Community College (MCC) music student, will be in the TV limelight on Jay Leno's Tonight Show Sept. 14. Matt will play keyboard on Bob Seger's new hit single, "Wait for Me," in one of Seger's first-ever TV performances with his Silver Bullet Band.

A former Sarasota resident and graduate of Booker High School's Visual and Performing Arts Program, Matt Frost went to MCC last year before transferring to the University of Miami with a well-deserved music scholarship. He studied just this summer with MCC's instructor Rex Willis, who taught him music theory and composition, and previously studied piano with MCC instructor Michael Markaverich. Willis called Matt "incredibly talented."
