Diversity Survey
The Diversity/Multicultural Awareness Committee instituted a survey to all employees and
was completed by 195 staff and faculty. SCF's definition of diversity was created
from responses received from the survey:
Diversity is the appreciation of varied talents, perspectives and identities that
we have developed from our experiences. The unique characteristics, world views, expertise,
and hopes contribute to the improvement and success of the entire community. A true
appreciation of differences strengthens SCF by the enriched interactions and increases
respect for all.
