The different formats of eLearning class delivery are defined as:

1.   Online course - Classes in which at least 75% of the course is delivered via the Internet.  They utilize a course management system (ANGEL) to for course delivery, and may also involve the use of other online sites, such as publisher web sites.  All activities are primarily conducted online, including class discussions, homework assignments, and testing.  On-campus visits may be required for an orientation meeting and testing.

2.    Blended course - Classes in which no more than 74% and no less than 30% of the course is delivered online.  They utilize a course management system (ANGEL) to for course delivery, and may also involve the use of other online sites, such as publisher web sites.  Many activities are conducted online; these may include class discussions, homework assignments, and testing.

3.   Web-Enhanced - Classes that are conducted in a classroom and use internet-based components as a supplement to classroom content and activities.
