SCF Music Program is designed to meet the common prerequisites required for a student to transfer with an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree to an upper division college. The Music Program offers a solid music foundation for a student to successfully transition to a four year college.

 Music  Program Scholarships available for Fall 2015

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Music Program offers Music Ensemble Scholarships to all full-time students planning to enroll in SCF in Fall 2015. You do not need to be a music major to be awarded a scholarship.

SCF’s Music Program offers opportunities for student musicians to take music classes and private lessons and participate in Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble and Musical Theatre Ensemble. The music faculty includes more than 30 leading professional musicians and music educators. Additionally, local, national and international performers frequently present recitals and master classes.

Civil WarTHE CIVIL WAR will be presented by SCF Music Program on October 23 and 24 at 8 p.m. and October 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Neel Performing Arts Center. The audition packet is located on this page in Related Links, and on the Music Ensemble page.
