SCF Music Program is designed to meet the common prerequisites required for a student to transfer with an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree to an upper division college. The Music Program offers a solid music foundation for a student to successfully transition to a four year college.

 

Music  Program Scholarship Auditions 

Saturday, April 18 for Fall 2015

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Music Program will hold ensemble scholarship auditions for students planning to enroll in the 2015-2016 academic year at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at SCF Music Building 11 West.

Students also will learn more about the Music Program and tour the state-of-the-art facility equipped with acoustics, classrooms, studios, offices and practice rooms with digital keyboards and interactive technology.

SCF’s Music Program offers opportunities for student musicians to take music classes and private lessons and participate in Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble and Musical Theatre Ensemble. The music faculty includes more than 30 leading professional musicians and music educators. Additionally, local, national and international performers frequently present recitals and master classes.

All full-time students planning to enroll at SCF in Fall 2015 are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
