MAT 0028 Elementary Algebra (College Preparatory) (4)(CP)
Three hours lecture and one hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite: MAT 0018 with
a 'C" or better or sufficient score on placement exam. This course includes basic
algebra concepts and skills that are needed for success in higher level courses. Topics
include operations with real numbers, polynomials, rational expressions, graphing,
radicals, factoring and solving linear and quadratic equations and applications. Additional
fees are required.
